(Left) The opening of the Hall of Fame at the Industrial Building in the Halifax Forum complex, November 3, 1964. Within a week, newspaper headlines announced that more than 10,000 people had already visited the Hall of Fame exhibit.

 

 

(Right) Displays at the Brewery Market, where the Hall  had its first permanent facility from 1983 to 1988 under the name Nova Scotia Sport Heritage Centre. Bill Robinson, currently CEO, joined the Hall as executive director on October 1, 1983.
