The National Sport Trust Fund (NSTF) is a philanthropic gift-giving program established through the Canadian Council of Provincial and Territorial Sport Federations (CCPTSF) for the development of amateur sport on a national level. The CCPTSF is a Registered Canadian Amateur Athletic Association (RCAAA) with the Canada Revenue Agency.
As a registered Canadian Amateur Athletic Association (RCAAA), we are able to issue an official tax receipt for all qualifying donations of $20 or greater. Sport Nova Scotia is the Fund Manager in Nova Scotia.
Sport Nova Scotia is pleased to make this program available to its members and their affiliates.

To donate to a fundraising project by credit card, please click the donate online link. To donate by cheque or cash, please complete the National Sport Trust Fund Donor Form and submit with your donation.

*Please note, Administrative Fee charges are subject to change on April 1st of each year.
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Provincial Sport Organization membership;
- Beginning and end dates;
- The proposed use of proceeds;
- Description of fundraiser.
When can I start raising funds?
- Once project approval has been received in writing.
- Apply at any time.
Tax Receipts:
- Eligible donations of $20.00 or more to approved fundraising projects will receive an official tax receipt provided no personal benefit is realized by the donor or related party.
Confidentiality and Your Contact Information:
The National Sport Trust Fund protects the privacy of your information. Names and address are never traded or sold in lists, and your financial information is never divulged or maintained for any purpose other that that required by the Canada Revenue Agency.
Donor Rights:
To ensure that donors and potential donors can have full confidence in the National Sport Trust Fund, and in respect for the cause that we support together, the National Sport Trust Fund has adopted and implemented the Association of Fundraising Professional’s Donor Bill of Rights.
