Sport Nova Scotia announces 2026 Support4Sport Awards finalists

Halifax, NS (May 19, 2026) – The greatest in the Nova Scotia sport sector will be recognized on Saturday, May 23 during the 2026 Support4Sport Awards. Being held at the Halifax Convention Centre, this event will celebrate the achievements of the province’s top athletes, teams, coaches and officials in amateur sport over the past year.

Each of the finalists were nominated by their Provincial Sport Organization as the best in their sport. Nominees were judged through a multi-level selection process that considered their accomplishments throughout the year, as well as their top achievement of the season.

Additional awards to be announced on May 23 include the Sport Makes a Difference Award, the Chair Award, Volunteers of the Year and Community Sport Organizations of the Year.
