Sport Split is a monthly 50/50 raffle and unique fundraising program that combines the sales from all participating teams and clubs into one monthly pot!
The majority of the money raised goes straight to the community participants to put toward common expenses like registration, equipment, facility time, and travel. The other portion of the funds helps Sport Nova Scotia deliver grassroots programs like KidSport, Sport Fund and Parasport.

Participating teams and clubs will automatically receive 85 percent of the profits from every ticket they sell. The remaining proceeds support Sport Nova Scotia in the delivery of our programs like KidSport, Parasport, and Sport Fund.
50 percent of all ticket sales goes directly to the winning pot. Ten percent of tickets sales goes to cover administration costs (online platform, merchant and processing fees). The remaining 40 percent is profit (85% to the participating team/club).
The “Top Fundraisers” tab on the ticket purchase page (Rafflebox) provides live updates for all teams and clubs.
Teams can choose between receiving their proceeds by cheque or electronic fund transfer. Electronic transfers will be sent out within two weeks of the draw and cheques will be mailed within three weeks.
The holder of the winning ticket will receive 50 percent of the ticket revenue.

The pot size will vary from month to month depending on the number of participating teams and tickets sold.
The winning ticket is selected by the Rafflebox Random Number Generator.
Sport Nova Scotia will announce the winning number through social media and www.sportsplit.ca. The winner will also be contacted directly.
Tickets are 3 for $5, 10 for $10, 30 for $20 and 100 for $50.
Yes. Teams and clubs have the option to track sales of individual athletes/families if they choose.
