July 31, 2026 (Halifax, NS) – Sport Nova Scotia is proud to announce that July’s Cleve’s Source for Sports Impact Award recipient is Lilly Rainham in the female athlete category.  
 

Female Athlete: Lilly Rainham, Sailing 
 
Achievements: Following a significant knee injury, Lilly had to spend ten months away from competitive sailing. Despite the physical and mental challenges of a lengthy recovery, she remained committed to her rehabilitation and worked tirelessly to return to competition. 

Her perseverance was rewarded at the 2026 International Laser Class Association (ILCA) Canadian Championship in June, where she earned the silver medal in the ILCA 6 women’s division and the bronze medal overall.
